Christening Card

Hi Everyone, my card today is a Christening card for "our baby Dorothy", her mum likes colours on her, so I added them to her card. I thought it apt to add it today as it is her Christening Day, we won't be able to attend unfortunately, but I hope this makes up a little for that fact.

both cut with Silhouette Cameo
vellum coloured with Spectrum Noir markers
background embossed - Die Sire EF

Birthday card

Hi Everyone, firstly I have to apologise if I haven't caught up with you yet, I am trying (some people say very trying LOL) BUT you Ladies are being so very creative and time takes over before I can complete my visits, hopefully it won't take too long for me to catch up with you.

My card today started with the sketch at the Outlawz, it was great inspiration for a card I had to do for hubby's cousin. Now it's made 7 days before I need it, whoopppeee LOL.

I did this from a digital kit, I find when I use a kit, that all I have to do is pick which elements go with which paper I choose and it all matches beautifully, and so many choices too.

kit "Another year has gone" - Valentina at Digital Scrapbooking Studio
designed in PS
all layered onto white card (for a change)
sentiment 3D'd
sentiment, oval and border, print and cut on the Cameo
oval border - Lori Whitlock "Kraft borders"
oval is actually a circle border I "squashed" to become an oval,
in PS, I "clipped" a paper to the shape to match everything else.
a little yellow sparkle pen on the flower centres and candle flames

the insert is blurred - sorry, but it gives you an idea of what I did.

this is the sketch for this week

Hi Everyone, my card today is for the Outlawz progressive challenge. I love this image, it's such a cute image and a typical little boy I think.

coloured in PS
background papers - Marisa Lerin Pixelscrapper

Thank you

Hi Everyone,  my second post today, firstly, I have to thank everyone, for their kind birthday wishes, it wasn't a special one, that was last year, but I have been overwhelmed with wishes, presents and lovely thoughts. I have to also apologise for my lack of visits too, it's been a very busy time here, it actually felt like a special birthday, but as my SiL says to me at our age every birthday is Special!  More to come in later posts! IF you can stand it LOL.

I have to especially thank Hetty for her thoughtfulness in sending me a beautiful Daffodil digi kit, now I wonder where she got that idea mmmmmm. She also sent me a beautiful digi card, I think from the same kit, that she made up herself. I printed it out and it looks 3D and very beautiful, well done Hetty and thank you so much.

This morning I received a parcel from LisaLynne of what can only be described as a craft haul, it is so very generous, I was so surprised and excited to receive a parcel, I didn't know was coming LOL. I can't thank you enough.

I think that I shall be busy using these beautiful gifts.
Thank you again Ladies and for making me feel VERY special.

Who would have Gnome?

Hi Everyone, a card from me with a definite who would have known! You'll never guess, the only thing on this card that is from the computer is the sentiment and the insert! I hope you're proud of me LOL.

This is for a nephew, he's 15, hope he likes it,
he has a great sense of humour - he'll need it LOL

mushroom background - Silhouette store
Gnome stamp (a "real" one!) and die - freebie from a magazine, heat embossed
clouds and sun - Silhouette store
sentiment cut out - Tattered Lace pin dot oval die.
All coloured with Sheena Douglas Sparkle pens and cut on the Cameo
most 3D'd

this is the insert I'm not good with puns, but I hope this is good enough for him LOL
