Hope you all had a Happy Christmas

Here are the snowman and reindeer poo and snowman soup and a few cards of our church, that I made last minute for the Christmas church fete. I also made some extra for work and sold them there, after the fete, and raised some more pennies for the church.

I say every year I am going to start early, but I was even later this year, it was the Monday before the Saturday of the fete that I started, what a rush, next year I WILL start earlier.
The cup graphics are from DAISIE, I added a peppermint stick and mini marshmallows.  The cards - I had a picture of the church and played with it in Photoshop to look like a sketch. Most of the images on the labels are freebies from Crafters Digital Art Center, which have fantastic artists.

Wood turning

My friend asked if I would make her a card for her wood turning hubby, this is, again, what I came up with, my poor hubby planed some wood as fine as he could so I could add it to the card, my friend was over the moon with it.

I had the image off the web, decoupaged it, added some wood  dust and shavings

Winning digi stamp

I was randomly selected to win digi stamps off http://www.fairyknoll.blogspot.com  in a challenge at Crafters Digital Art Center, this is a card I made of one of the 5 stamps I won, doesn't she look like she is enjoying herself?

papers used off Summer Driggs

First step card

I was asked to make a card which had these images in, here's what I came up with. Sorry the photo isn't very good.

Ballerina

Yet another commissioned card, for a 12 year old who loves her ballet.

The image from the web, with the "12 and her name" played with in Photoshop to blend in with this beautiful image I used, as the girl in it looks so like the girl it was made for.

This is the inside, ballerina made with Avery's Fantastic Plastic, behind her is sparkly vellum which doesn't show up here sadly.

Bald Biker

Another commisioned card, the brief was a bald biker who always wears shorts and likes his wine, so a few images off the web, played about in Photoshop and this is what happened,

New baby girl

I think I am getting the hang of posting and adding images now, I hope!

This is a commissioned card, which looks better in "real life"

The image is from Belly Button Babies, a safety pin, buttons and ribbon from stash and paper printed from "somewhere" and punched with Fiskars punch and of cours Stickles

Wedding Card

This was a commision, as time goes on I hope to know how to take photos properly!

I used black card, flock wrapping paper, white card embossed with a cuttlebug folder and heart ribbon and pearls from Papermania, I bought a long time ago.

21st Birthday

A friend of mine asked me to make her daughter a 21st birthday card, this is what I came up with

The images are in a file I have called "Romance" I have had it for years, but don't know where it came from - sorry.  I have decoupaged the butterflies and tag and added 2 ribbons to complete it and join the A4 card together, hope you like it.

Adoption card

Hi Another day, trying to tweek my blog, still in the very early days, I expect it will change a bit as I get to know how to do things.

This is a card for someone who has just adopted a little boy, I just love this image.
The image is from Charmed Cards & Crafts, the background paper is by Trina Clarke and the ribbon from stash

A start -

Here I am in blog land, I have succumbed to techie land, I just hope that I can learn how to do it and keep it up, I also hope that you will enjoy looking at my cards.

The first card is one I have done recently for my SIL, who loves her sewing and sewing machine, she was thrilled with it. I colour all my cards in Photoshop

Stamp by Bugaboo, patchwork paper by Bette Dugantz, table off internet, vase DSB May freebie
